Every day, RoadPulse queries the PSCA e-challan portal on your behalf — solving the captcha automatically and retrieving the latest challan status for each registered vehicle.

When a new challan is detected, alerts go out immediately via email, Slack, or a custom webhook. We only notify you on genuinely new findings — no repeat noise for challans you already know about.

Monitoring a government portal reliably involves more than a simple HTTP request. Here is how RoadPulse handles the hard parts.
- Diff detection. Every result is compared against stored challan history. Only genuinely new challans trigger notifications — no duplicate alerts for items already in your record.
- Scheduled runner. Checks run on a configurable interval with automatic retries on transient failures. The default cadence is daily — enough to catch challans the same day they are issued.
- Fault tolerance. If a check fails due to a transient network or portal issue, it is retried automatically. You are never silently skipped.

- Does it work for all vehicle types?
- Yes. Cars, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles registered in Punjab and visible on the PSCA e-challan portal are all supported.
- Does RoadPulse pay challans?
- No. RoadPulse surfaces challans — payment is done directly on the PSCA portal or through designated payment channels.
- How quickly will I be notified?
- Same day the challan appears on the PSCA portal. Checks run on a daily schedule by default, so you will know within 24 hours of a challan being issued.
- What data does RoadPulse store?
- Only what is needed: your vehicle registration numbers and the challan records retrieved from the public PSCA portal. No payment information, no documents.
